I gave this song to a compilation to help raise money for the 2011 earthquakes in Japan. I never really posted it anywhere, though, so I went ahead and uploaded it to the youtube channel, with the lyrics added.
Internet.
So this is a new video I cut the other day for We’re On Our Way, a song off the free ep I put out last year, “The Family Tree, The Bastards: Volume 1.”
How it came about: a friend of mine (Michael Walter, who has helped with a lot of my music videos) came and filmed a party we threw where everyone had to dress as a fictional lord or lady, stay in character for an entire day while going around the city and playing lawn games and having public dance offs, then participate in a dinner that will end in a food fight.
The day was a huge success. It was the most fun I’ve ever had at a party. I think the footage really captured the feel of the whole thing.
Preview of the project/album called “Clone”, which we’ll be releasing later in the year.
So one night I was riding my bike home from a friend’s house at 3am and in the distance I saw something stumbling across the road. My vision isn’t the best at night, so I couldn’t figure out what it was. When I got close enough, the photo is what I saw.
I eventually managed to get the bag off his head, and he looked around all crazy-eyed for a couple seconds, dorito crumbs all over its face, then darted off into the bushes.
My neighborhood is pretty awesome sometimes.
Video I made from stuff I shot on my point and shoot while in Japan.
